Pakora Mix
Ingredients
- 200g flour
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 2-3 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 150ml water
- 2 onions
- 2 green chillies
- 1 potato
- Choice of other vegetables
Method
- Heat oil in a wok
- Sieve gram flour and slice the onions, chillies and potatoes
- Mix all spices with ingredients and add water
- Using a spoon scoop up batter and place in oil
- Deep fry for up to 5 minutes until golden brown
- Keep turning the Pakoras for even cooking
- Drain excess oil on a plate with kitchen paper
