Tandoori Style Chicken
Ingredients
- 900g skinless chicken
- 3 tsp tomato puree
- 50g garlic
- 50g ginger
- 4-6 green chillies
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 100ml plain yogurt
- 2 tsp tandoori masala
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- For the marinade, add spice mix, yogurt, tomato puree, spices, garlic, ginger and green chillies
- Liquidize in a blender.
- Pour sauce mixture over the skinless chicken pieces
- Mix and leave to marinade for 4-6 hours, or overnight in the fridge.
- Pre-heat oven on gas mark 5 / 190c / 375f
- Place a wire rack on a baking sheet, and place all the chicken pieces on it.
- Place in the center of an oven for 60-80 minutes
- Turn the chicken pieces every 20 minutes and discard the excess liquid.
